Little Vumbura is a beautiful tented camp nestled in the shade of ancient forest. Each of the six well-appointed and comfortable guest tents features an en-suite bathroom and a terrace with incredible views over the savannah. A pool and reading area overlook the floodplains, while a star deck is accessible via a bridge from the dining area. Additional facilities in the main area include a bar, lounge, small library, souvenir shop, and a boma.

The annually flooded grasslands of the Okavango Delta surrounding the Vumbura Plains, locally referred to as "melapo," offer seasonally good chances to spot elephants, buffaloes, impalas, sable antelopes, red lechwe and tsessebes, kudus, water- and reedbucks, wildebeests, zebras, and giraffes. Hippos and crocodiles are frequently encountered on motorboat or mokoro rides through the waterways. Resident predators include the African wild dog, multiple prides of lions, as well as leopards, cheetahs, and African wildcats. The birdlife is exceptional and diverse year-round.
Game drives in open 4x4 vehicles and walking safaris allow guests to marvel at the savanna wildlife up close. Additionally, optional helicopter flights and hot air balloon rides can be booked to admire the stunning beauty and diversity of the region from the air.
