The lodge comprises twelve luxurious thatched and glass-fronted suites. Each of them features an en-suite bathroom, is elevated on a wooden platform, and offers beautiful views of the river landscape from its private veranda. In the central lounge and dining area, you can relax at the bar, listen to the exciting night sounds of the African bush at the adjacent campfire spot, or splash around in the refreshing waters of the swimming pool. Leroo La Tau also features a wildlife observation hide on the riverbank, providing a magnificent panoramic view of the Boteti River and fantastic wildlife sightings.

The lodge offers guided game drives in the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, focusing on wildlife sightings along the Boteti River. Depending on the water level, boat activities may also be available. Additionally, cultural excursions to Khumaga Village and, with a minimum of three nights at Leroo La Tau, day trips to Nxai Pan and Baines' Baobabs are possible. It's worth noting that due to their remote location within the national park, visits to the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans are not part of the daily planned activities from Leroo La Tau.
Leroo La Tau translates to "lion's paw," and indeed lions are quite commonly encountered in the lodge's vicinity. The area is also home to a plethora of other wildlife, especially between May and November, including zebras, wildebeests, Chobe bushbucks, leopards, cheetahs, brown and spotted hyenas, impalas, kudus, jackals, porcupines, genets, and caracals, all of which can be encountered during daily exploration outings.
