This comfortable and authentic private camp accommodates guests in three specially designed Meru tents, each with two beds. One of the three double-bed tents can be converted into a family unit with five beds. Each tent features its own newly renovated bathroom with sink, flush toilet, and hot water bush shower, and a daily laundry service is provided.
A chef runs the camp's "bush kitchen" and prepares every menu fresh with his team. Meals are served in a small communal tent, which doubles as a tea and coffee station in the afternoon and offers a varied drink bar.

The best time to travel
With a visit to Footsteps Camp, guests have the opportunity to explore Africa's wilderness on foot in a unique way, experiencing the richness of the Okavango Delta up close – whether in a group of friends or as a family.
The focus of the "Footsteps Across the Delta" safari is on guided walks, allowing guests to concentrate on learning to track wildlife and understand the movements, patterns, and behaviours of the animals. A walking safari allows for a deeper study of trees, grasses, insects, and the countless small details of the bush like few other exploration methods.
The "Young Explorers" safari is a specially designed program that offers families the chance to explore the wonders of the African wilderness together. One of the special attractions of this safari is its exclusivity.
Each family has a private camp with six beds, a professional guide, a personal chef, a waiter, a housekeeper, and a skilled mokoro poler at their disposal. Both young and old can embark on exploration tours into the breathtaking depths of the delta, creating enchanting memories amidst pure wilderness.
The focus of the Young Explorers is to learn wildlife tracking – on foot, but also in open-air vehicles. Young adventurers are taught to light a fire with no more than two sticks, recognize various animal tracks, identify a range of birds, pole a mokoro through the delta's channels, catch fish, and drive a safari vehicle. An unforgettable experience!
