Located on the outskirts of the village of Khumaga, Boteti River Camp is easily accessible for self-drivers from various directions – whether from Maun, Nata, Kasane, or the Khama Rhino Sanctuary.
The camp features eight chalets with attached semi-open bathrooms. Additionally, there is a spacious safari tent situated approximately 4 meters above ground level, also with its own bathroom. For those opting for a camping adventure, there's the option to stay at the campsite with shared bathroom facilities.

However, one should by no means miss the opportunity to explore the picturesque region on guided tours or as a self-driver, to not only enjoy amazing wildlife sightings but also experience the unique rural culture of Botswana.
Trips to the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, whether self-driven or with a guide from Boteti River Camp, mainly follow the Boteti River. A guided day trip to the scenic expanses of Nxai Pan National Park is also possible and highly rewarding.
