Please ensure that you obtain adequate insurance coverage for the duration of your entire trip. This includes health, trip cancellation, trip interruption, and liability insurance.
As a guest of one of our Botswana safaris, you will also receive a one-year membership to "Okavango Air Rescue" (OAR) through us. This entitles you to helicopter emergency assistance with a doctor. The doctor will then decide on your further treatment and, if necessary, your transfer to a hospital (optionally also in Johannesburg). However, this does not exempt you from the aforementioned general requirement for international health insurance. We explicitly point out that the OAR can only be used for trips in Botswana.
