Small town in the quadripoint region

The small town of Kasane is a popular starting point for visiting the Chobe National Park, as it is located just a few kilometres from its entrance gate, Sedudu Gate. Since the park is not fenced, it is quite common to encounter warthogs or even elephants on the streets during the evening hours.

Due to its proximity to the Chobe National Park, there is a wide range of accommodations where tourists can make a brief stopover upon their arrival before moving on the next day. Kasane itself has only about 9,000 inhabitants (2019).
