Theda Gräfin Knyphausen is the founder and head of CONSAFARITY. Born in 1978 in Hanover, she grew up in Lütetsburg, East Frisia, with a strong connection to nature. Her participation in a safari guide course during a trip to southern Africa after completing high school laid the foundation for her personal fascination with this diverse continent.

Driven by the desire not only to "consume and enjoy" but also to take active responsibility, she founded CONSAFARITY in 2013 and two years later, the affiliated Knyphausen foundation for sustainability, nature conservation, and education.

With expertise and dedication, Theda focuses on providing comprehensive advice to our clients and creating individually tailored dream safaris – always aiming to offer you a truly unique journey that will leave an indelible impression.

While Theda spends much of the year in her chosen home of Maun, Botswana, accompanying numerous safaris for our guests and overseeing the projects of the Knyphausen foundation, she spends the rest of her time in Germany, primarily focusing on marketing and fundraising efforts.

Since 2016, CONSAFARITY has been a registered trademark of Natucate GmbH.

The agency, based in Aachen, specializes in volunteer work, nature-based training courses, ranger training, species conservation internships, nature and adventure travel, as well as customized Sabbaticals. The merger of Natucate and CONSAFARITY not only provides safari enthusiasts with excellent service and comprehensive support on the ground in southern Africa but also directly in Germany.

As a longtime business partner of Theda Gräfin Knyphausen, Daniel Kaul heads the office of Natucate GmbH in Aachen. In 2013, the travel agency was founded by the trained geographer. Since then, Daniel and his team have been enabling people of all ages to spend time abroad in close contact with nature through volunteer projects, further education and ranger courses, internships, adventure trips, sabbaticals, and safaris.

In addition to his role as managing director of Natucate, Daniel also works as a consultant for organizational development, supporting non-profit organizations through strategic planning and coaching in the establishment of project structures and internal processes.

Through his travels to countless countries over the years, the passionate adventurer and connoisseur of Africa, who himself has completed training as a Field Guide Level 1, has built a network that he now specifically utilizes for the work of CONSAFARITY and Natucate.
